About Us
I've been an Animal Crossing fan for quite a while, although, surprisingly, I never got into the GameCube version. When my cousin started playing Wild World, I decided to go ahead and buy the game too. I'm glad I did because once I started playing online I realized that's what the game is all about! Creating new things, exchanging stuff with other players, and simply enjoying a quiet time in a charming world full of cute animals are just a few of the things that make Animal Crossing so special.
In July 2008, I was sitting at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, CA for the E3 2008 Nintendo Press Conference when I first found out about the Wii version of Animal Crossing. It didn't really come as a surprise, since there were rumors about the upcoming game all over the Internet, but the confirmation of the game was quite a relief. And we were just months away from the release!
When I finally got my hands on the game, I couldn't have been more excited. Despite its similarities with Animal Crossing: Wild World, Animal Crossing: City Folk was everything we expected and more. The inclusion of online gameplay and voice chat truly made it a worthwile experience, not to mention the extra goodies found in the city. Now I can play with my friends and family overseas or make new friends through online communities.
Since I love the series so much and I'm sure you do too, I figured: what better way to honor this special and absolutely charming game series than creating a cool fan website? So that's what I did, and that's why you're here! Thanks for sharing your Animal Crossing enthusiasm with us and I hope you find what you're looking for!
